Ernesto Villaseñor, Jr. is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Public Health Law Center, providing legal technical assistance on climate-justice issues to advocates, community groups, and local governments.

He was previously the Sr. Manager for Nationwide Policy at the American Lung Association, where he worked on appliance standards, energy efficiency, and building decarbonization. Prior to this, he was the Director of Advocacy and Member Support at Waterkeepers Chesapeake; Policy Manager at Chesapeake Climate Action Network; and the Equal Justice Works Disaster Resilience Fellow with Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County. Ernesto is also a Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarship recipient.
