The Public Health Law Center (PHLC), the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), the Network for Public Health Law (NPHL), the National Association of City and County Health Officials (NACCHO), and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) held a 60-minute webinar that provides an overview of free resources related to sharing data for public health purposes.

The speakers discussed questions that have come to them from local health departments and highlight resources that address the questions. Additionally, speakers talked about how to access free legal and policy technical assistance.

This webinar is the first in a series of webinars that address public health data sharing at the local level. Later webinars will focus on data governance for local health departments, and common legal questions. Future webinars will feature legal counsel who support local health departments.
