Illegal Tobacco Product Sales - A Guide to Filing Complaints

The manufacturer of the nicotine pouch Zyn recently applied for Modified Risk Tobacco Product (MRTP) status. Afterwards, in January 2026, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration conducted a Tobacco Product Scientific Advisory Committee meeting where members disagreed about the benefits of Zyn and whether it meets MRTP requirements.

This 60-minute webinar reviews the thresholds for an MRTP categorization, the constituents in Zyn and other nicotine pouches, and whether products that can lead to an addiction to nicotine ought to qualify as modified risk.
