Now that both adult-use cannabis and lower-potency hemp edible products are legal in Minnesota, local jurisdictions have taken action to further regulate these products, particularly with respect to regulating public use and retail sales. While, under state law, cities and counties may not outright prohibit the establishment or operation of either cannabis or hemp businesses, jurisdictions may continue to enact ordinances to better protect public health. 

This interactive map contains the links to all known ordinances passed by cities and counties further regulating these products. City or town ordinances can be found by clicking on the county in which they are located. Ordinances or other local action that could not be verified are not included on this map. Because local jurisdictions continue to pass laws regulating the public use and sales of cannabis and lower-potency hemp edible products, however, this map may not include the most up-to-date ordinances enacted into law.
