Emma Schubert (she/they) is a Policy Analyst on the Public Health Law Center's Healthy Eating and Active Living team, which provides legal technical assistance to support Tribal, federal, and state government officials, researchers, and community groups, in developing laws and policies that advance health equity and community well-being.

Emma's background is in Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice research and advocacy. They credit abortion care workers with shaping their commitment to justice-centered, empathy-informed change making. Emma earned a Masters in Public Policy and a Bachelors in Sociology and brings an interdisciplinary approach to public health work. In their spare time Emma loves to cook, craft, and spend time outside.
